Deluxe hotel, superb location, we booked the deluxe king room and enjoyed it. The host upon arrival was friendly! The place is 3 km away from Garve downtown.

The continental breakfast was lovely with a wide variety of choices, including cereal, fresh fruit, toast, jams, yoghurts. We enjoyed the unlimited coffee, tea, and fruit juice. the hosts were friendly and welcoming, and the newly refurbished house and spacious bedroom with ensuite were beautifully decorated. the location was peaceful and scenic, and we particularly enjoyed watching the birds feed during breakfast. the suggestion to take the local walk through the forest to the white water river was stunning.
Felt truly looked after, nothing to complain about.

We had an amazing time at this hidden gem! The hosts were super friendly and gave us great tips for our road trip. The breakfast was simply outstanding, with a wide range of delicious continental options. And let me tell you, that bed was like sleeping on a cloud! So cozy and comfortable, we didn't want to get up in the morning.
Getting to the hotel was a bit tricky, as our GPS led us astray. Make sure to contact the owners for directions beforehand to avoid any confusion.

We definitely got great value for our money at Silverbridge Lodge. The room was beautifully decorated and cosy, making us feel right at home. The location was peaceful and the staff, especially Allison and her adorable dog, were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The little area outside with the fire pit was a lovely spot to relax with a coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.
The food for breakfast was fantastic, but it would have been even better with a wider variety of hot options.

Great value for money with a stunning, modern room and an incredibly comfortable bed. The location was perfect, with a beautiful nearby river walk and a stunning waterfall just across the road. The staff, including the lovely owner and their daughter Megan, were friendly, welcoming, and made us feel at home right away.
The breakfast experience could have been improved by offering a wider variety of hot food options.

I had the most wonderful stay at a beautiful lodge nestled in a serene location. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly hosts who went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. They even allowed me a late check out, which was incredibly convenient. The atmosphere was cozy and familiar, making me feel right at home. The room was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. I also loved the private parking available at the lodge. The continental breakfast was delicious and provided a great start to my day of exploring the outdoors. Additionally, the lodge is conveniently located near Black Water Falls, offering stunning walks right on the doorstep.
While the lounge area was a bit small, it was not a major inconvenience as I could retreat to my comfortable room to watch TV. It is worth noting that the lodge is located a little outside of Garve, so having a car is recommended for easier access to nearby restaurants and amenities.

During our Easter stay, we loved the warm and friendly atmosphere created by the hosts. They were incredibly kind and helpful, providing us with recommendations for activities and restaurants nearby. the breakfast options were excellent, with a variety of fresh fruit salad, cereals, and delicious croissants. the location of the lodge, although slightly outside of town, offered a peaceful and calm environment. We also enjoyed the beautiful decor and cleanliness of the entire property.
One aspect that could be improved upon was the lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room. these minor drawbacks did not detract from the overall enjoyable experience we had during our stay.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
